The Island Foundation is a non-profit organization that operates a preschool, an exemplary charter elementary, and the only exemplary middle school south of San Antonio, all with significantly less money per student than traditional schools. The funding gap between charter schools and traditional schools is 22 percent. The average charter school ends up with a significant funding shortfall. We rely on supportive members of our community like you to help us reach our goals.
